We arrived on-site around 9:30 am. It was a brisk 55° in Carlsbad that morning. It was early... unusually early.

Jean had all of her custom-made dresses ready and laid out for assembly. Her breads, made from scratch, were available for the tasting. I of course, had to taste them.
